Monroe County’s 2025 election underscored just how much every vote matters. After recounts in three razor-thin races, the county certified results that ultimately flipped two seats to Democrats—including my own race, decided by a mere 24-vote margin. The outcome reflects both the intensity of local civic engagement and the profound impact of close, community-driven elections.

Monroe County stands out as the jewel of Western New York, and when our community unites, no challenge is insurmountable. As promised during my campaign, in my capacity as LD #3’s representative, I will actively pursue opportunities to enhance our community by collaborating with nonprofits, grassroots advocates, and local businesses to develop and maintain a comprehensive initiative. This effort will focus on tackling issues related to food, transportation, and housing insecurity. Together, we can keep strengthening our community, making it more compassionate and resilient.
